K-CAMPEP Information

Medical Physics is a branch of physics that applies the concepts and principles of physics to the diagnosis and treatment of human diseases. Medical Physics encompasses four fields: Imaging Physics, Nuclear Medicine Physics, Radiation Oncology Physics and Medical Health Physics. This document focuses on the essential educational and experience requirements needed to be accredited by Korean Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Program (K-CAMPEP) for graduate education programs in Korea.

To be qualified as a K-CAMPEP accredited graduate education program, the Korean graduate program should meet every 8 compulsory requirements, under the following K-CAMPEP guidelines. Each primary requirement includes particular details. When a graduate program should satisfy two requisite conditions, the program can be approved and posted on official website as a K-CAMPEP accredited graduate program.
